So pretty much anything with Mary on it I'm sold! My friend Lisa is always talking about creating a company with great messages and putting it on things in a funky format, which I love. I think this belt buckle is so about that. Sweetbird studio creates these wearable shines of intention. I just love the workmanship and creativity that goes into these little gems.

During a trip to Arkansas, with my girlfriend Jenny we came across this fabulous book,Bazaar Style, at her sister in laws house which mixes vintage with funky. It is such an inspiring book you'll want to dog ear every page.

Seriously Ridiculous

 

Okay, I love the Renegade craft fair but this year it was too crowded and so much of the same thing. I did fall in love with one vendor, skunkboy creatures, the sweetest girl,Katie, creates these amazing little animals that are all just too precious and ridiculous for words. After much pondering I left with this elephant..I just heart him!

Love is in the air

After taking down all my lovely Christmas decorations my home was in definite need of a "lovely" transformation. I cut out hearts of all different sizes sewed them together and hung from my chandelier. In a different area, I put little hearts in vellum envelopes and then hung from branches. It looks so happy to have a few little decorations!

Currently craving

When it is cold, snowy and a high of 8 in Chicago...all I can do is dream about the colors of summer...

How funny after meeting Wendy Mignot in Seaside, Florida that I would later read about her sisters in Julia Chaplin's Gypset Style. I love their style and vibe, it is so inspiring.
