I happen to stumble upon these sweet images of cheese crates being used as centerpieces. I just love the concept. I always see these at flea markets and end up using them for storing my beads and trinkets. I think I will do a little repurposing and visit the local nursery for some flowers and do some planting. xo

Spread the Love...everyday!

I love Valentine's Day...but I believe in sharing the love everyday. I am so blessed to be surrounded by people whom I love dearly. But I think love is contagious and it should be shared so if you are feeling loved or blessed pass it on...everyday, not just on Valentines. 

Happiness

Thinking about how quickly March passed me by, time flies when you're in love. I have a new love of my  life....she is about 19"inches long and weighs all of 7lbs.  So motherhood is keeping me busy. But today I saw these beautiful paper garlands on etsy (I was shopping for my little love) and thought I should share. Hoping your Spring is filled with Hope, Faith and of course LOVE...xo

I love a letter pressed card. Something about the weight of paper and the old fashioned pressing of the ink. One Canoe Two makes these recipe cards that come 42 per set...You can find them on etsy right here.

A garden wedding

Finishing some last minute details at work for Hope's wedding. She is going with the garden theme for her big day. We are creating these moss trimmed table numbers and hand addressed place cards with cherry blossoms printed on them. Everything was made custom at JSD.

Flower Daze

It was a crazy warm weekend here in Chicago...I was able to visit my favorite greenhouse and finally plant my containers and my peonies starting popping up. A fabulous treat that I look forward to all year! I will post some more pictures of my peonies as they continue to open. I was at the grocery store and they had roses two stems for $1, so I had to do a little arranging and fill my house an backyard with them. A little corona with some friends makes for a perfect weekend.
