Was playing around with an adult friendship bracelet (because we are never too old for friendship bracelets) and created these. They have a chevron pattern with a little sparkly rhinestones attached. I love them all layered together, just in time for summer! xo

Making the most at the Makerie
Gathered a few pictures of this past weekend at the Makerie. What an amazing experience! So much inspiration, hilarious times, and delicious food. Everything they did made you feel loved and welcome. My head is now spinning with ideas and I am trying to filter them all. I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to share an experience like that with wonderful, colorful and talented women. xoxo

The Makerie
Well...I'm off to Boulder, Colorado. Heading west to celebrate a dear friends birthday and attend a creative retreat called the Makerie. I am so excited I can hardly stand it. I cannot wait to be inspired, meet new friends and experience the workshops. I cannot imagine what the weekend will be like. Everything that comes from them is filled with love and happiness. I even love the playlist of tunes they created for us. Already sending out those contagious happy vibes! I will be posting pics once I get back! To find out more about Ali and the amazing folks at the Makerie just click here.

Outdoor Movie Party
I have always wanted to have an outdoor movie party. I love the idea of using your backyard as part of your home, afterall, isn't it? With the weather getting warmer I am adding this to my summertime bucket list.. images from Brandon Kidd

Wonder!
I am so drawn to these sweet colors and enchanted images. Maybe it is watching my daughter babble in a little language only she understands, or watching her squeeze her bear Paddy, but something about the innocence of a child is magical. It is so much fun to watch her and wonder what is she thinking about. I sometimes sneak in her room and just listen to her babble to her animal friends. It really is the sweetest noise I have ever heard... xo images make believe, lanterns, little stuffies, bedroom, theatre

Rug obsessed!
I almost yelled and woke up my baby when I saw this rug! Really, I am so loving it...Oh course only the amazing and talented peeps at Free People could come up with something like this. They did post a DIY on how to create your own but I am instructionally challenged. And this one has a few too many instructions for me...xo images from the wool acorn

a summer affair
So my friend Randi is all about the details and a great party. She had a little summer soiree at her lake cottage and went a bit crazy. So many cute details...she had an old fashion ice cream stand filled with cold treats, a popcorn machine, potato sack races(with red and white potato sacks), and mini pies as take home gifts from the elegant farmer. The hit of the party was a photo booth she created. Thought I would share some of my favorite pics! xo

A labor of love
Creating this room for our daughter, Chloe, was really was a labor of love. It did not come together easy but it turned out to be such a happy space. The walls are robin's nest by benjamin moore and they are much brighter than these pictures show. I wanted her to have a room that she could grow into...an imaginative space she could play and dream in. I filled her walls with artwork and I just love that influence. One wall hangs our prayer that my husband and I created for her. Instead of a traditional mobile, I opted for a handmade one created by my dear friend. Everything in her room comes with a little story which I tell her about all the time... original owl artwork jenny sweeney designs, fabric sis boom, doll blablakids

Jenny Sweeney Designs Site Launch!
Yippee! So happy for my dear and lovely friend, Jenny Sweeney. She has been wanting to update her website for so long now. It was a massive work in progress. But it is an amazing reflection of her whimsical youthful style. Her new cards (my favorite is "find your happy place") are ridiculous! Her site reminds me of going into a store and finding a cupboard filled with delicious treasures. Every page is filled with inspiration. You will defintely want to check it out, www.jennysweeneydesigns.com . Congrats Jen xoxoxo!

Vintage Lovelies
It's a rainy day here and I find myself loosing track on time while surfing through Etsy. So many amazing finds! Anyway, found this great etsy site called, the Gilded Bee. They carry such an unbelievable variety of vintage treasures I just had to share a few. My crafting brain is running wild with ideas of some little things I want to create.
